Dear students of the Tourism Studies Department of the University of Piraeus, I would like to congratulate you on your success entering in one of the best Undergraduate Departments in the country.

In the Department of Tourism Studies, the passion for excellence guides us and inspires us to constantly research and update our knowledge, for the benefit of our students, but also society in general. We believe that our students should have an educational experience that equips them with the knowledge and potential for a successful career in today’s turbulent business tourism environment. To offer our students such an important quality educational experience, the Department has a carefully designed Curriculum. Courses on Tourism Economics, Tourism Management, Human Resource Management, Accounting and Finance for Tourism, Tourism Marketing, New Technologies, integrated with innovative methods and ideas to create the future leaders in the field Tourism and Hospitality in general. Such a broad education offering aims to empower students to recognize and solve problems, acquire values, set their own goals and act accordingly in a broad field of human endeavour.
